Heart-Centered with Dean Hankey, Erin MacCoy & Mali Phonpadith

This week, we discussed what it means to be Heart-Centered on #GoalChatLive. Marketing Magician Dean Hankey, Spiritual Intuitive Life & Business Coach Erin MacCoy, and Mali Phonpadith, Founder & SEO SOAR Community Network, were kind, genuine, and inspiring.

Dean, Erin, and Mali shared their backstories, as well as their thoughts on what it means to be heart-centered, how to incorporate heart into your business, and more. We also delved into a question posed by Dean, “When did ‘be nice’ become a strategy?”

Being Heart-Centered

  • Erin: Coming to the table, leading with heart. A Heart-Centered Badass is equal parts sensitive and living without apology.
  • Mali: Tapping into your feelings first. Understand what you are feeling (be clear) and express yourself from a place of truth.
  • Dean: Creating others-oriented success solutions. When you help others, you feel good. Being nice is a choice. Why would we choose anything else?

Tips for Being More Heart-Centered

  • Dean: As you look at your best practices, ask yourself “Am I caring enough?” What sort of outcome can you help others achieve?
  • Mali: We have to create more space in our lives for self reflection. Start with what makes me feel good. You need to get to that place of self-love and self-compassion. Calm takes over when you get closer to your authentic self.
  • Erin: Take deeper breather breaths. When you do that, you slow everything down. It gives you the opportunity to be present, reset, and put yourself first

Goals from Our Guests

  • Dean: Ask yourself these questions: Who can I help? How can I help? Help people identify and cross the “caring” chasm. Think VIP. Add Value to people that adds Impact for others, so that everyone Profits
  • Mali: Find a practice that works for you to uncover what makes you feel good? For example, Mali uses meditation and EFT tapping.
  • Erin: Practice gratitude. Write down 3 things you are grateful for every day.

Final Thoughts

  • Dean: Go and find ways to be value, service, and support to others
  • Erin: Let bliss be the primary motivator
  • Mali: Practice self-love and self-compassion
