Angela Miller Barton of WellCoaches, the Original Pause Lady Kim Groshek, and Spiritual Mentor Terri Ann Heiman shared their takes on the topic. The trio also offered tons of helpful tips for dealing with people and being good to yourself.

What is Stress?

  • Kim: Stress is a negative reaction to something.
  • Terri Ann: A state of worry created by a disruption
  • Angela: When demand is more than your resources

How to Deal with Stress from Others

  • Angela: Recognize how others “activate” you
  • Terri Ann: Let everyone have their opinion and stay objective
  • Kim: Embrace the mess and put systems in place; set boundaries; and use the “anger no more” methodology

Final Thoughts

  • Kim: Pause for 5 minutes every day
  • Terri Ann: Drop out of the mind and come into the heart
  • Angela: We are all living a human life So in this human life. Have compassion for yourself and the world around you, those around you, and that will make the journey all that much better
