I like to start the new year in DEBcember! That way, you get motivation to finish the calendar year strong, as well as inspiration to get a running start into the new year! This year, Christopher Cherian, co-founder of Gatherly; Annie P. Ruggles, founder of Quirk Works Consulting and the Non-Sleazy Sales Academy; and business strategist and community builder Keith Spiro once again joined me for the #Start2024Now Party on #GoalChatLive!
We kicked off the conversation talking about the rollercoaster ride that was 2023, before sharing challenges, wins, and “joy” projects from the year. The trio also shared their goals for the end of this year, priorities for the next one, and goals gifted to the audience.

- Chris: Set a personal goal, as well as professional ones
- Annie: Dismantle the “shoulds” in your life as you wind down this year. Next year, don’t pick up any new ones. Thou should not should and do not be should upon
- Keith: Choose a passion, choose a person, and double down in giving them your attention
Final Thoughts
- Keith: When you meet a new person, spend time exploring each other’s worlds. And let your worlds explode as a result
- Chris: Everybody you meet has something to teach you. Be open minded and curious
- Annie: Don’t nod on a podcast. Be present, be bold, and reach out to the new people you meet
