Go Be Awesome with Dave Bricker, Stacia Crawford & Jason Falls

We had an awesome conversation on how to Go Be Awesome with Dave Bricker, Stacia Crawford, and Jason Falls. Dave is a business storytelling expert and founder of Speakipedia; Stacia is a media strategist, Stay Ready Media; and Jason is an influencer marketing strategist and executive director of the Marketing Podcast Network, which hosts my podcasts.

To celebrate the Mid Year, I have been doing GoalChats with achievers featured in 52 Secrets for Goal-Setting and Goal-Getting under the theme of “Just Go.” This was the perfect wrap-up topic.

Define Awesome

  • Dave: Something remarkable
  • Jason: Being in awe of someone’s talent, wanting to tell others about it
  • Stacia: Being memorable

What It Takes to Be Awesome

  • Jason: Having the attitude to know that you are awesome, and the confidence to project it to others
  • Stacia: Thinking of yourself as being extraordinary; you have to live it, own it, and accept it
  • Dave: It’s a journey, it’s not a destination; having the inner vision to realize you are naturally awesome

How to Tap Into Your Awesomeness

  • Jason: Self exploration – therapy, meditation, prayer; when the inner critic shows up, give those thoughts a time out
  • Dave: It’s important to surround yourself with people who think the world of you; when they tell you how special you are, believe them
  • Stacia: Remind yourself how awesome you are; keep an awesome file

Goals

  • Stacia: Create an awesome jar. On little slips of paper write down all the things that you do that make you feel awesome. Put them in a jar. And pick one out every day, and do what it says
  • Jason: Schedule 15 minutes each day – mid morning and mid-afternoon – to sit quietly, clear your brain, then start over/reboot yourself
  • Dave: Think about what the word awesome means; take an inventory of what is actually the most awesome, make that your standard of awesome, and find your awesome reflector people

Final Thoughts

  • Dave: Let’s up the ante for what qualifies as awesome
  • Stacia: Be extraordinary and create more awesomeness in the universe
  • Jason: Have a great attitude
